Research-Intensive Diseases Initiative
Dedicated Leadership – JPL&P Partner Roger Sullivan has been designated Head of the Initiative. With over a decade of top-level national and international fundraising experience in the cancer, infectious disease, HIV-AIDS areas, his solid expertise and broad relationships across the policy, education, prevention, clinical, research and industry sectors inform and guide our approach.
Rapid-response – borrowing from proven business “best practices” we have assembled the means to respond with such interventions as:
- Contract and resident staffing
- Outsourcing for designated projects, or functions
- Web-based enterprising
- Bench-marking and Performance goal setting
- CEO and Board coaching
- Peer group standard-setting and networking
Milestone service – structuring our work around important and sometimes independent service milestones to assure greatest client flexibility and performance review.
Philanthropic emphasis – not new for us, certainly, but it is for many health NGOs who have relied historically on direct mail and special event fundraising.
Throughout the Initiative, the focus is on the “value proposition” that makes each organization worthy of philanthropic-level investment.
