Cast Your Net for Bequests
Here’s news that may surprise you.
You’ve been thinking your greatest potential for introducing bequests is with those in their 60s or 70s. I thought so, too.
But I’m finding now that the average age when the first charitable bequests are made is 49, and the first will is written at 44. There’s research that backs that up.
Don’t wait. Get to your potential major probable estate planners early.
There’s something else. Eighty-two percent of the bequests to institutions are for estates for less than $2 million. Cast your net wider.
