Richard Bragga is Senior Principal of Jerold Panas, Linzy & Partners – one of the nation’s most highly regarded firms in the field of campaign services and Financial Resource Development. A major force in the industry, the firm has served over 4,000 client-institutions since its founding in 1968.

Rick Bragga has over thirty years of fund development and communications experience for nonprofits. He has been directly responsible for managing campaigns for over 100 organizations that has provided over $400 million. This includes institutions of all sizes.

His credentials include graduation and certification from the National Planned Giving Institute at the College of William and Mary. During his extensive career, Rick has been the recipient of numerous awards for his work and his contributions to the literature of the profession. He has countless articles to his credit.

He won the AHP Journal Professional Papers Competition in 1993 and 2006 and was the co-author of the articles that received the AHP Journal First Place Award for 2002 and 2007.

In 2009, he was honored with the Si Seymour Award, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy’s highest honor for those deemed extraordinary in their service to the nonprofit
community and AHP. In 2017, Rick was selected for the inaugural class of Distinguished Fellows by the Association for Fundraising Professionals.

He was also awarded the AHP Mid-Atlantic Award of Excellence in 2012 for leadership and contributions to the profession. Rick is the only person to be awarded all three top AHP awards for lifetime leadership/service, research, and professional writing.

In addition to his writing, Rick is a frequent presenter at conferences and seminars. He is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators. He has served as chapter President of both organizations as well as for a chapter of the Association for Fund Raising Executives.

His association with the firm began nineteen years ago. In each of his projects, he has exceeded goal.
