Fundraising 101: Volunteer Giving

In a study conducted for the Denver Foundation, it was found that among those who give to charity, 61 percent also indicate that they volunteer.

The more they volunteer and are involved, the more they give.

These figures won’t surprise any of you. But it confirms that you need to get people involved. And once you do, the gifts will follow.

I call it Fundraising 101. The more people are involved, the more they love you. And the more they love you, the more they give.
