Who Are You Listening To?

I sent an e-mail recently on the importance of listening (one of my favorite subjects). In response, I heard from Steve Dickie. He is CEO of Oklahoma Methodist Manor in Tulsa.

Steve wrote that he feels most people are hard of hearing. He went on to say that he has to try really hard:

…to listen better to his wife.
…to listen to his kids.
…to listen to customers, clients, and donors.
…to listen to fellow employees and colleagues.
…to listen to people of different political or theological persuasions.
…to listen more to God.

He closes by saying that he doesn’t do a good job of listening, but my comments helped set the path for him.

If you would like to see the e-mail I sent out that Steve refers to, we have it archived here. Also, we have THE LITTLE GOLD BOOK I’d like to share with you. It’s FREE.

The book is all about probing and asking questions. (You can’t listen if you don’t ask questions. A question not asked is a door not opened.) To get your complimentary copy, send your full mailing address to us at: bonus@panaslinzy.com. We’ll take care of the rest.
